Remember Us?

Hey! Yes, we are still alive!

Truth be told we have been having some computer issues that have seriously demotivated me from spending any time on it. It seems to be a common theme that every time I go to use it I end up getting grumpy. So, in an attempt to stay a happy, healthy, loving Mama I have been avoiding turning my computer on. :)

Since my last post we have mostly been living daily life as normal. However, I did spontaneously hop a plane to Colorado to visit my new little niece, Kinley!! We had less than a weeks notice. What an incredible trip!! She is an angel! I am so so glad I got to see her before she was out of the infant stage!

A little tired of traveling! They both wanted to be in the stroller but they don't really fit!
Watching for Papa!

Finally!!

Harper was so curious about her new best friend! I love how she is looking at Kristi like, "I am being sweet. I promise I'm not looking for hair to pull just gently stroking."
Yep, Harper still goes in the potty. But what to do when Rylie has to go too? At least their booties are tiny!
Super Harper!! Thanks for the Valentine's mask cousin Jackson!!
Grandma Cici's trying to create a cheerleader. I was pretty opposed until I saw the outfit on her. Could she be any cuter!!?

Do I need to write a caption?
Rylie wants to be just like cousin Jackson and show off her muscles. But I think the true intimidation is in the plumber's butt!
KINLEY!!! Already so curious about what her big cousins are doing.
Harper loves water!!
Aunt Kristi is so funny!
I wish I could crop this and get a closer look of the bliss on Harper's face but every time I do it gets to blurry.  So go ahead and squint. I give you permission.
Robo Baby!!
Our late night flight home. The girls were up til 1 am!! Yikes!
Home and back in Daddy's arms! What could be better!!! (This was the next day. Not at 1 am.)

Michigan has been getting tons of snow (well, hopefully it stopped now) but we still have a mountain in our front yard because of the snow plows. A few times I actually got Rylie to go out with me in it. She is definitely a home body like me! She likes going out sledding with Adam but I have had a hard time getting both girls out. Harper doesn't really like to be in her snowsuit and its hard to help/play with Rylie when I have to hold Harper. Okay, I know excuses, excuses! I am looking forward to next year though when both girls will be able to walk. So, we have been being creative inside. The sun has been out the last few days and boy are we happy! Just hope its not a tease!
Shoveling over a foot of snow before bed.

Last week we bought a membership to Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. I am really excited about this! Throughout the summer they give free concerts of local bands, discounts on tickets to major artists, amazing gardens (obviously) and fun exhibits. There is an amazing kid area that has an enormous tree house, a great lakes replica water park, mazes and fun walks. Basically, endless opportunities for fun, entertainment and learning. They currently have a butterfly exhibit that is amazing!! And we went to a butterfly ballet that Rylie was in awe of! I am excited to take all our visitors to see this place! Hint, hint! (I already called grandma and told her she doesn't have a choice!)
