Nicknames

Rylie has a secret talent that we didn't discover until we moved to our new house. Naming things! I should've guessed when at a year and a half she figured out Adam and I's names without us telling her. When we are not giving her our full attention she will not hesitate to call us by our real names either! Yesterday she yelled up from the basement, "Katie, I could really use some help down here!" yikes!

So here are some of the names she has come up with:

Carrot-her stuffed bunny's name. (she named him back when she was just learning to talk. I was super impressed… But then again carrot was only one of like five words she knew.it just happened to be a fitting name.)

Cheerios-the name of the squirrel that's always eating our birdseed

Honey Nut- Cheerio's cousin.

Colorado-the name of the rabbit that frequents our backyard

But my favorite is the new nickname she came up with for Harper-GrassHarper. :) In fact, she likes it so much that now she would like Adam and I to call her GrassRylie. Haha... it doesn't have the same ring to it does it?
