The Crazy House

Here is a post on life with 3. Scratch that! I mean 4!!! That's right Jeremiah is back! Well, for a couple weeks that is. Life has been BUSY! In fact, maybe a better word would be CRAZY! To be perfectly honest this is more than a full time job! Between nursing, potty training, wiping noses and changing lots and lots of diapers there is not a whole lot of room left for anything else. Clean clothes? Nah, kids don't need to be clean. Dishes? How about a picnic instead? Mess? Bring it on!

We have been having lots of fun! The girls love J and he fits right in. Made obvious by all the fighting between H and J. Haha! He's like a true brother. I have been extremely impressed, though not surprised, by how helpful Rylie has been. She has really stepped up. She is so sweet and caring!!!  Not too mention incredibly cute too! :-)

When I picked up Jeremiah his hair was only halfway done! He looked so silly! And as I investigated how to go about fixing it I quickly realized that there's so much more to African-American hair care then I realize! I am feeling bad I didn't do more research back when he was with us before. But the main challenge is not how to do his hair but how to keep him STILL
so I can do it. I have a great appreciation now for all the little girls out there with the long braids or intricate hair dos.  It's just amazing that they can sit still that long.
I think I did ok considering my ignorance. It took 2.5 hours to get the braids & twists out!

Here are my other beauties!

How we roll at the park:

Last weekend we went to a friends house for dinner and they took us out on their boat. It was fun to watch H and J. They loved it!! Even Emma had to wear a life jacket. No way that thing would have safed her life if she fell in. She looks hilarious.
This is Jessi, who is our "Family Coach" for Safe Families, meaning she is the one who placed J with us. The girls adore her!!!
