4 Years Old!!

Can you believe my baby girl is 4!! I can since she has been 4 for a few months now. haha! Having kids really does make life seem to go by faster!

We had loads of fun planning her birthday. Just like her tea party, Rylie wanted to help decide every detail of her party. Since the day after her third birthday Rylie has wanted a bubble gum party. Adam had told her that she was not allowed to have gum until she was 4 and so she had her mind set. However, not long before her party she spent the week at Mimi and Pops and fell in love with Sofia the First. What resulted was a "Sofia the First Bubblegum Party". Oh sure, Rylie, way to pick something I cant just do a pinterest search for! I had to actually be creative myself. :)

She had a blast! We did gifts first thing in the morning by leaving a trail of streamers she had to follow from her room down to the basement where her gifts were waiting to be opened. We had a special birthday breakfast and then her party. Its fun that she is also old enough to decide who she wanted to invite.

The girls had a blast dressing up and being all girlie! (Poor Adam! I think we are in for a lot more super girlie parties in our future.) The only bummer was that I some how messed up the cake! I used Kristi's recipe that everyone ranted and raved about after Jackson's party but no one finished it at our party. All the kids took one bite and said..."this is gross!" Oh wait, all but Harper that is. I think she may have even finished a few of her friends plates while no one was looking! :)

Coloring princess color sheets and making mini gum ball machines.

Playing pin the crown on the princess (with no blind folds) haha.

Celebrating a 7 way tie by buying gum balls from Rylie's new machine
