Adam had to work Thanksgiving this year so I invited my family to join us here. I am so glad I did!!! It would have been a lonely holiday without them. My dad, mom and brother all joined us and we had a blast.
We went to Meijer Gardens for their tree lighting ceremony. It was very fun. They have lights everywhere and they decorate tons of trees as they do in other countries (very interesting). There is an enormous train track that goes in and out of multiple rooms and a Christmas village set up to replicate downtown Grand Rapids. Very creative! There were Christmas carols, kids activities and Santa. I think I have finally decided to give up on my hope to continue the Grigger's tradition of getting a Santa picture every year. Rylie just won't do it! Haha
It snowed a couple inches right as Kenny arrived so Dad and Kenny shoveled all the neighbors driveway to get enought snow to build Rylie a snow fort. She had so much fun!!
We of course saw a few movies- it wouldn't be a true Kramer vacation unless we all saw at least a couple, right?! I saw the new Hunger Games and Frozen. Mom and I actually took all 3 kids to see Frozen! I was very surprised that the babies made it all the way through but it was not very relaxing that's for sure! The rest of the time we just played, played, played! :)
