Day 2 of awesome vacation. Day 6 of Rylie with the stomach bug!!! :( Today was heartbreaking. Rylie has been counting down the days for like 2 months for Disney. Although she did her best to enjoy every moment, she was definitely still sick.
We started the day great! We went straight to the new Ariel ride and road it twice with no wait! I would never have guessed how much Harper would enjoy it too! She yell "yay" the whole time, clapped and even sang along with Ariel at one point. :-) let's just say Harper is a Disney girl all the way! Her new favorite word is "ride" and she says it very enthusiastically until she gets her way. Haha. The carousel was also a big hit! Around 3 Rylie threw up after a 2 hour nap and we decided she needed to go home. :(
However that meant mom and I had the park to ourself (Adam and dad volunteered to take the kids back to the hotel). We got in all the rides, light shows and fireworks! It was super fun to be just adults.
Rylie played Mrs. Potts in the new Beauty and the Beast show. Harper played Chip but might need a few acting lessons before hitting the stage again. Adam had the pleasure of playing a knight! He really enjoyed it! ;)
